GG has been through a lot of changes! the squares work great – very distinctive. Does not look mass produced like perfectly formed factory kibble balls. The squares look more custom hand made. Like the difference between crackers you buy in a store and crackers you make from scratch and bake yourself. And the texture is perfect– not too hard and crunchy (our dogs have both had dental work), and not mushy or crumbly. I can break them with my fingers and use them for training treats. But the big thing is that the dogs look terrific. A vet at the Madison vet school once looked at Wally when he was 14 and asked us if he could show Wally to a class of students so they could see what a healthy 14 year old lab mix could look like.
