  • Q1 What is the VitaMethod™?
  • What is the VitaMethod™? The VitaMethod™ is a process of metabolic pathways of bio-chemistry. Superior to any other food processing, as it is a natural fermentation product; the protein is super bio-available. Our VitaMethod™ fermentation is a natural biological cycle that breaks the proteins down into amino acids, which are completely nontoxic unlike heat-processed proteins, which have bound carbon atoms in addition to fused fats (hydrogenated) and simple sugars, which become carcinogens (toxic). Nutrient molecules require enzymes for breakdown into a metabolizable form. This is why typical pet food manufacturers make lower protein formulas for adult and senior age animals. Since a puppy/kitten has a much deeper store of enzymes due to its youth,t hey can handle higher protein even in it's toxic forms. Over time this begins to wear on their vital organs, which depletes their bank of enzymes. This is why they start lowering the proteins for older pets to attempt to reduce stresses on vital organs, which requires enzymes for degistion in older pets. It is a futile cycle. Petss and cats were meant to consume quantities of raw and predigested (fermented prey IT contents) whole foods. The VitaMethod™ never initiates such carcinogenic a cycle and therefore can be assimilated by all ages in varying degrees and quantities required by the individual animal relating to it's age, activity level, etc. Quite simply put, a puppy or kitten eats a little more per pound than a pets. This is why adult and senior food tends to have less “as fed” calories from protein. In other words, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction, meaning that carbohydrates must go up in the formulation which easily convert to sugars and demand digestive precedence over proteins causing proteins to be stored as fat and HDL cholesterol, (the bad kind). This would normally be metabolized in the absence of carbohydrates/sugars which petss and cats do not require at all. The VitaMethods™ unique fermentation process allows pets & cats of all ages to eat healthier than any other nutritional source. We also produce specifically targeted variations of the VitaMethod™ for even more benefits to specific age, and breed groups since your pets are not living wild. Typical multi-national conglomerate brands are basically in the “scrap” reclamation business remarketing collected chips and fines from tortilla chips, potato chips, cookies, flours, used fats and oils (trans fatty acids/hydrogenated oils), and animal rendered heat processed powdered byproducts. Then nicely shaped and packaged and advertised as “ healthy pet foods”br/>
  • Q2 What are the specific functions of enzymes?
  • What are the specific functions of enzymes? Digestive enzymes have three main functions: digesting carbohydrates (mylases), digesting proteins (proteases), and digesting fats (lipases). When uncooked, food enzymes naturally assist the enzymes produced by their bodies for digestion. Some veterinary research cites enzyme deficiency as a significant cause of premature aging and degenerative diseases. This is attributed to metabolic stress and organic imbalance caused by lack of enzymes. On a lesser scale, poorly digested food can block nutrient absorption and produce toxic by-products. Minor discomfort such as gas, bloating, headache, nausea, intestinal cramps, and diarrhea, commonly result from internally produced toxins. Because some petss simply do not produce enough enzymes for effective digestion, this condition tends to become more common and increases with age as the pets body makes less enzymes of its own. Enzymes play an important role in the immune system. A pets body, however, rates digestion as a higher priority than immunity. Therefore, modern enzyme deficient diets weaken the immune system. Balance Diet™ feeds much less, than a typical heat extruded pets food made of powdered grains and by-products. This would allow your petss to become nutrient saturated and feeding amounts would decrease significantly. Therefore, you would find Balance Diet™ to be most economical not to mention health considerations.
  • Q3 Don't dogs and cats already have enzymes?
  • Don’t dogs and cats already have enzymes? Since enzymes are so important, it only makes sense to make sure pets have enough of them. Eating everything raw is certainly one way to maintain enzyme levels; however, for most pets, it simply isn't practical. Some important enzymes are in raw meat which other pet foods do not contain. It is important to remember that pets inherit an enzyme reserve at birth. This reserve can be decreased as they age by eating an enzyme-deficient diet. Enzymes have a limited life and must be replaced regularly. Unfortunately, if you cook food at temperatures exceeding 129 Fahrenheit, all the enzymes are destroyed. By consuming cooked pet foods, their digestive systems have to produce all of the enzymes. While dogs and cats can produce some enzymes, the range is limited far below human capacity. To supply such enzymes, their body draws on its reserve from all organs and tissues, causing a metabolic deficit. Orthomolecular veterinarians have concluded that most dogs and cats succumb to disease and illness due to weakened immune systems. What weakens the immune system? Stress, poor nutrition, drugs, chemical pollution; but most of all lack of particular enzymes. The immune system's function is to fight off all foreign invaders in the body such as bacteria, viruses, carcinogens and other chemicals. The body relies almost totally on enzymes to do its job. Enzymes in their immune system attack waste materials and poisons in the blood and tissues. There is a direct connection between the strength of a dog and cats immune system and their enzyme level. A weakened immune system has a diminished volume of enzymes including those that are defective or worn out. The greater the amount of enzyme reserves, the stronger the immune system, the healthier and stronger your pet will be. The number of enzymes in a pet’s body is vast, and yet each one has a specific function. Enzymes are healthful, protein-like molecules with catalytic activity essential to life. There are three classes of enzymes: metabolic enzymes, which run their bodies; digestive enzymes, which break down food to make it available for their body to use; and food enzymes, which occur naturally in food and also help to break it down.
  • Q4 Why Enzymes?
  • Why Enzymes? Enzymes digest all of the food and make it small enough to pass through the minute pores of the intestines into the blood. But they do more than just digest food. Enzymes in the blood take prepared digested food and build it into muscles, nerves, blood and glands. They assist in storing sugar in the liver and muscles, and turn fat into fatty tissue. There is an enzyme that builds phosphorus into bone and nerve tissue, and another to help attach iron to red blood cells. If you removed all enzymes from the pets body, it would stop working and die! Enzymes are the keys that unlock nutrition. Pets have a short, simple digestive tract. There is a limit to how much digestion can occur. The absorption of the nutrition cannot occur efficiently with other dead dry pets foods which barely get you by. The partial predigesting of wild prey's stomach contents is an excellent source of nutrition for wild pets. Everything is made of molecules. Some molecules have nutrition. Enzymes unlock the nutrition for absorption of the nutrients within the foods. The enzymes in Balance Diet™ products (see: Melafluous™, TheraPlex™) provide your pets with useable efficient nutrient dense nutrition. Not only are most pet foods inefficient but they can also be toxic. Whatever nutrition can be derived has to be separated from toxins. If you pour clean water into dirty water the result is not half-clean, it's all dirty. Enzymes are a part of every metabolic process in the pets body, from the working of their glands to the proper functioning of their immune system.
  • Q5 What are the powerful capabilities of Lactobacillus Acidophilus?
  • What are the powerful capabilities of Lactobacillus Acidophilus? The most widely recognized of the lactobacilli is L. acidophilus. It is recognized for its significant production of lactose, a digestive enzyme. This conquers most of the complications related to lactose intolerance. New research is unveiling greater attributes from this microbe. For instance, L. acidophilus has now demonstrated the production of a minimum of four potent microbial compounds: acidolin, acidophilin, bacteriocin, and lactocidin. Every one of these composites have shown counteracting abilities against disease precipitating microbes including listeria, staphylococci, and camphylobacter among many others. Fundamentally, L. acidophilus protects against diseases in many amazing ways. Food science research has found a powerful strain of L. acidophilus known as DDS-1 to lessen cholesterol counts. DDS-1 has displayed the ability to subdue the growth and toxicity of over 20 recognized disease inducing pathogens. Tumor growth and carcinogens have been reduced or neutralized with the aid of DDS-1. Moreover, certain types of L. acidophilus retard viral and fungal growths.
  • Q6 Why is Lactobacillus Salivarius important?
  • Why is Lactobacillus Salivarius important? The amicable gastrointestinal super culture L. salivarius is distinguished for its capability to supply the body with energy storage. This is because it has a powerful capacity to help digest foods in the digestive tract which makes the food ingredients better suited for immediate benefit. Notably, L. salivarius assists the colon by consuming encrusted, partially oxidized organic matter. It also supports the rebuild the intestinal tract as it supplies necessary enzymes and nutrients. L. salivarius also sticks to and guards the mucus lining of the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Q7 What is the significance of Lactobacilli Rhamnosus?
  • What is the significance of Lactobacilli Rhamnosus? There are a number of immunological characteristics that L. rhamnosus exhibits. For example, it heightens phagocytic activity. This destroys foreign invaders and other harmful entities much more efficiently. Natural antibodies that move throughout the body have been observed to be up to eight times larger in number subsequent to consumption of L. rhamnosus. Increased amounts of immunoglobulins and the activation of macrophages can aid the body to combat microbial infections. L. rhamnosus may just be the most notable of the lactobacilli.
  • Q8 What is the significance of Lactobacilli?
  • What is the significance of Lactobacilli? Lactobacilli have been observed to exhibit magnificent health effects. Much like bifidobacteria longum, the lactobacilli population declines with age. Lactobacilli produce vitamin K, which is important for many reasons including the prevention of osteoporosis. While it is not yet know to what extent lactobacilli benefit the immune system, it is generally considered valuable to supplement animals as they age
  • Q9 What are Bifidobacteria Longum?
  • What are Bifidobacteria Longum? Bifidobacteria longum have the characteristic of safeguarding against the forming of tumors in the liver connected with pathogens in the intestine. Furthermore, bifidobacteria longum have shown to significantly hinder mammary gland and colon tumors which result from nitrosamines--common mutagens residing in browned or charred food. These are found in dry, heat processed pet foods. This is not to claim that bifidobacteria longum is a cure, but rather that they have distinct anti-tumor traits. Some strains are capable of frustrating cancer compound sources residing in the colon. Bifidobacteria longum and bifidum breve are relevant makers of B vitamins. B vitamins may prevent hardening arteries and arteriosclerosis. Sufficient amounts of B-12 must be maintained for top mental acuity and physical condition with age. In these respects, bifidobacteria longum are desirable in a sizable population to assist in good health and disease prevention.
  • Q10 What are Bifidobacteria?
  • What are Bifidobacteria? There are many types of bifidobacteria. The four that are paramount in this group are B. breve, B. infantis, B. bifidium, and B. longum. This lot of bifidobacteria have a significant purpose from birth. More than 90% of a suckled newborns microbial count contains extremely beneficial bifidobacteria. These microbes turn out crucial byproducts in the intestinal tract which prevent the growth of pathogens which cause infections and diseases. The amount of bifidobacteria declines with age mainly from shifts in the acid/alkaline balance of the gastrointestinal tract. This has the tendency to allow detrimental viral and fungal organisms. This also accommodates bad bacteria which are the impetus for diseases and disfavors bifidobacteria growth. Bifidobacteria have the capacity to detoxify the body. Some researchers have suggested that bifidobacteria have the power to get rid of cancer causing compounds.
  • Q11 What are bioflavinoinds?
  • What are bioflavinoinds? We are quite certain of the nutritional advantages of Balance Diet™. Your pets enjoy the healthful benefits of our efficacious ingredients and process. Briefly, fruits & veggies contain 1,000's of different phytochemicals which are naturally occurring compounds that contribute to the resistance of disease and boost immunity. Bioflavonoid (a group of chemical substances found in many plants which help keep the cell walls of small blood vessels permeable) is a class of phytochemicals that include the flavonones, the flavones, the flavonols, and rutin. The bioflavonoid have diverse and beneficial effects, such as enhancing immunity, scavenging free radicals, strengthening blood vessel walls, inhibiting the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, reducing platelet aggregation, and exhibiting anticancer properties. (Free radical-an atom or molecule with an unpaired electron. These chemically reactive entities are produced in the course of normal metabolism, in the breakdown of peroxidized fats in the body, by radiation (radiation sickness is a free radical disease), in ozone interactions with lipids, in the attack of oxidizing agents on fatty acids, particularly those that are unsaturated, and so on. Free radicals are major sources of damage that cause aging, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Free radical scavengers, molecules which can block free radical chain reactions, have extended experimental animals' life spans and reduced cardiovascular disease, cancer incidence.) Foods rich in bioflavonoid are citrus fruits (oranges & grapefruits), garlic, and all vegetables. In studies cancer researchers found that extracts of flavonoid-rich fruits and vegetables inhibited the growth of cancer cells by more than 90%! Studies showed that test animals fed orange juice had their LDL cholesterol reduced by 43%; while those fed grapefruit juice had their LDL cholesterol reduced by 32%. A concept that we have always believed in has been proven in recent research. According to that recently released research, grapefruits and oranges are powerful anticancer tools and they help fight heart disease. Grapefruit specifically increases efficiency of nutrition absorption. Vitamin C contributes to general immune support.

  • Q13 What disrupts these beneficial bacteria?
  • What disrupts these beneficial bacteria? Most frequently the stasis is disrupted by the use of antibiotics, stresses, chlorinated water, and immoderate consumption of carbohydrates as in dry, heat processed pet foods. The bacteria can be harmed by variable levels of alkalinity and acidity in the intestinal tract which result in an altered bowel climate. This will affect the population, type, and function of the probiotic bacteria. Heat processed pet foods containing scorched proteins and unnecessary carbohydrates that unbalance the acid/alkaline level of the intestinal tract which leads to an abundance of harmful microbes. Many prescriptions, anti-inflammatory drugs, and painkillers also have this undesirable effect. A diet high in carbohydrate will also cause this unbalance. This leads to the putrefactive disease enabling bacteria that will win out over probiotic bacteria setting a course for grim heath conditions. These corruptive bacteria frequently release toxins when met with foods in the digestive tract. This adverse set of conditions could lead to an overwhelming toxic load on the body, essentially poisoning the animal. Finally, many degenerative diseases have the capability of taking hold.
  • Q14 Are bacteria necessary for health and vitality?
  • Are bacteria necessary for health and vitality? Yes, bacteria are critical as a tie between the body's intestinal flora and it's facility to preclude serious illnesses and increase a quality lifespan. Bacteria even aid in healing, immune system efficiencies, vigor, vitality, and in proportion are valuable without respect to age. Should the microbial ecosystem within the digestive tract become upset, the probiotic bacteria cannot thrive in necessary numbers to perform their beneficial functions. It is even believed that disturbances in the micro-ecosystem are responsible for up to 90% of known diseases and illnesses.
  • Q15 How are probiotic bacteria related to bad bacteria?
  • How are probiotic bacteria related to bad bacteria? It is crucial to know that both the good and the bad microorganisms live in the intestinal tract. Their link is symbiotic but complicated as they control one another's populations. An example would be the destructive organisms, Candida Ablicans yeast colonies for instance, that live in the intestinal tract are in fact crucial for the digestion of sugars, the discharge of critical enzymes, nutrients, and many other important substances which they bring about. Helpful microorganisms like L. acidophilus, among others, prevent the overpopulation of Candida Ablicans yeast. This prevents the harmful spreading of the yeast. Should the Candida Ablicans begin to grow beyond a healthy number, infections would form in various regions of the body. This would obviously be harmful to the animal.
  • Q16 What are probiotic bacteria?
  • What are probiotic bacteria? Within your pets digestive tract resides a complex microscopic ecosystem. This consists of a population of millions of millions: trillions of microorganisms that can exist together either in harmony or disharmony. This is known as intestinal flora. The well-being, metabolism, lifespan, physical, and mental state are dependent upon this miniature ecosystem for direction. These 400 unique types of microorganisms within the tract make up about 2.5% of their body weight. When the ecosystem is operating correctly, it protects the body from destructive bacteria, viruses, and yeast. Additionally, it will incite the performance of the digestive tract and generates necessary vitamins while controlling their concentration. The tiny ecosystem sustains the animal's vital hormonal and chemical balance. This allows for optimal energy, imperative immune function, and even works against compounds which reside in the colon. Take a look at our BD™ BioFlora™, BioLact™, Felora™ Librium™, and TheraFlora™ probiotic supplements.

  • Q18 Tell me about garlic.
  • Tell me about garlic. Garlic lowers cholesterol and slows down brain deterioration because it contains an antioxidant. Garlic lowers blood pressure because there is sulfur containing compounds in the herb. Other properties in garlic inhibit tumor growth and prevent the spread of cancer throughout the body. It is proven that garlic fights infection, neurological deterioration, heart disease and strengthens the immune system. These are some of the ingredients contained in Balance Diet™. Please keep all of this information in the context of our four sources of highly usable protein (high biological value). They are USDA chicken, USDA salmon, USDA chicken liver, and USDA grade AA eggs. Remember nutrient density, nutrient diversity without heat processing.
  • Q19 Why is there apple cider vinegar in the BD™ food?
  • Q20 Are tomatoes good for my pets?
  • What will happen without a balance of good and bad bacteria? Are tomatoes good for my pets? Regarding tomatoes, although a single tomato is not exceptionally high in any particular nutrient, they provide a larger percentage of dietary nutrients than any other fruit or vegetable when fed consistently. As would occur with Balance Diet™ containing approximately 4% tomato. A tomato is made up of mostly water; it's nutrients include vitamin A, a substantial amount of vitamin C, trace amounts of several other vitamins, a bit of iron and other minerals, a little fiber, and a very small amount of protein. Like all fruits and vegetables, the tomato contains a bit of fat, no cholesterol, and delivers a mere 5 calories per ounce or about 30 calories in an average tomato. Since tomato provides vitamin A, it also contains one of its precursors, beta-carotene. It is now suspected that it is not only beta-carotene that offers cancer protection but also its cousins, carotenoids. Among these relatives is one called lycopene, and the tomato, fresh or as tomato sauce, juice, or paste contains more of it than any other produce (almost twice as much as second-ranking watermelon). The tomato surpasses all other vegetables and fruits in total carotenoids. This is not to encourage you to think of tomatoes as medicine, but to offer you yet another reason to freely feed your pet Balance Diet™, should you need one. P-coumaric acid and chloragenic acid in tomatoes slow carcinogen formation.
  • Q21 What about my pet's stools?
  • What about my pet's stools? Organic ingredients will result in organic bio-degradable stools which will breakdown (biodegrade) in your yard much more quickly. One of our customers has 6 dogs and 3 cats in about half an acre and his yard is not littered with feces even after years of no scooping. It turns to chalk white ash and melts away. It only occurred to him after a few years, as it was never an issue.

  • Q24 What is the VitaMethod™?
  • How is the food made? The basic fermentation takes about 4 weeks in a state of emulsion divided into bio-reactors (wine vats). Over this period, excess moisture is purged off and then agitated every other day for the first 15 days, until it is thickened where it can then be rolled out like clay and die cut. Then at this point, we begin the curing process which takes about four days give or take depending on atmospheric conditions. It is a cool low-light process likened to wine making. This process leaves enzymes and antioxidants intact.
  • Q25 What is the VitaMethod™?
  • What do you mean by natural? When we suggest that the VitaMethod™ is natural, it is because we grow and bring in fresh whole food ingredients, we do not use synthetic ingredients and chemicals. The VitaMethod™ is a natural organic process which overcomes many problems such as sprayed vegetables and trapped toxins in meat tissue. During the VitaMethod™ process of biological transformation we liberate any forms of trapped toxins into harmless methane gases. This combined with our unique preservation techniques utilizing naturally occurring ascorbic, citric, malic, folate acids, we have effectively acid etched and detoxified everything synergistically and simultaneously. The net result is purity. We don't call it a raw diet, though it may well be interpreted as such. We have been more comfortable using the terminology of “pure diet”, which relates to the high non-toxic digestibility and available nutrient value. It is a controlled replication of humus upon the rain forests floor.
  • Q26 What is Curing?
  • What is Curing? Curing is a time process of conversion, which can be accelerated with enzymatic activity and bacterial cultures during exposure to air (air dry).
  • Q27 Why is the VitaMethod™ a wet process?
  • Why is the VitaMethod™ a wet process? The VitaMethod™ is not dry. It is a wet emulsion. We rely on moisture to maintain the integrity of the antioxidants (an enzyme or other organic substance, as vitamin E or beta carotene, capable of counteracting the damaging effects of oxidation in animal tissues) and other enzymes. Dehydration would cause suffocation of these valuable attributes. We maintain high levels of healthy Saturated and unsaturated fats & oils, such as, avocado oil, orange peel oil, naturally derived chicken/beef fats, and salmon oil. Many other pet foods contain propylene glycol, formalin's (formaldehyde derivatives), or glycerol. They rely on these toxins to maintain control over moisture activity but technically are not in a moist state. The VitaMethod™ maintains its texture and moisture through molecular binding of water molecules with fat soluble molecules during the fermentation process. This process generates bio- electrochemical synergy?
  • Q28 Is the VitaMethod™ Raw?
  • Is the VitaMethod™ Raw? When we describe the VitaMethod™ as being natural or raw, you must consider the following. We borrow technology from sausage, jerky, cheese, and wine making. Our process does not include any salting/brining, or chemical preservatives. While we do consider it to be raw, you must bear in mind that fermentation alters the molecular composition. Fermentation is an enzymatically controlled transformation of organic compounds. We introduce all of the fruits, vegetables, herbs, fish, and meats, into the fermentation process, fresh whole and raw. We consider this not justto be “fresh”, but what we call “refreshed” (full of or renewed in vigor). We rely on molecular binding (cross-linking bonds) during the process to control respiration and condensation of moisture (aka water activity) to preserve and maintain freshness naturally. The fermentation process is a form of predigesting. It makes it easier for dogs and cats to assimilate (e.g. wild prey stomach and intestinal tract contents: acronym IT) which is also a fermentation process similar to the VitaMethod™. That is where we achieve the huge gains of metabolic efficiency (e.g. low consumption, high absorption, low organic depleted stools). This helps achieve the homeostasis (stable state or equilibrium, synonym: Balance) of your pets. We call this nutrient saturation. Furthermore, we use an acid etching technique (e.g. seviche - raw fish marinated in citrus juices), which marinates and “acid cooks” it (alters the cellular tissue at the molecular level) with citric acid, not heat, leaving the nutrition 100% intact, even improved.
  • Q29 Why Fermentation?
  • Why Fermentation? Our proprietary VitaMethod™ Fermentation technology naturally concentrates nutrition. The fermentation breaks down nutrients into simpler forms whereby the molecular structure can then realign, thereby creating new heathful compounds finding its own perfect balance naturally this process is called hydrolysis. The new compounds are even more potent and more nutritious than the contributions of the original ingredients. Synergies are what "The VitaMethod™ miracle of fermentation" is all about, that is the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, this synergetic process is called glycolysis: the enzymatic breakdown of a carbohydrate (as glucose) by way of phosphate derivatives with the production of pyruvic or lactic acid and energy stored in high-energy phosphate bonds of ATP. We create varied molecular structures by fermentation giving your pets a diversified diet from a nutritional point of view. For example, wine, cheese, and aged cured sausage are all made under similar conditions; there are billions of reactions and no two fermentations could ever be exactly the same. Therefore, each fermentation has its own unique characteristics. This ensures your the most diverse array of nutritional possibilities conceivable. Effectively you are varying your pets diet even though you are feeding the same daily staple diet. The VitaMethod™ has been described as a “pharmaceutical grade veterinary nutrition" –i.e. pure (outstanding for therapeutic healing and recovery) The VitaMethod™ supports B-complex antioxidants. Dogs and cats need whole food to replicate a natural diet, which is why pets relate to the VitaMethod™ instinctively. The VitaMethod™ fermentation emulsion supports dense proportions of enzymes, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, amino acids, and populations of beneficial micro-flora cultures, and electrolytes, thereby generating higher nutritional bio-availability and potency.

The VitaMethod™ has been described as a "pharmaceutical grade veterinary nutrition" i.e. pure (outstanding for therapeutic healing and recovery) The VitaMethod™ supports B-complex antioxidants.

    Is the VitaMethod™ Raw?

When we describe the VitaMethod™ as being natural or raw, you must consider the following. We borrow technology from sausage, jerky, cheese, and wine making. Our process does not include any salting/brining, or chemical preservatives. While we do consider it to be raw, you must bear in mind that fermentation alters the molecular composition. Fermentation is an enzymatically controlled transformation of organic compounds. We introduce all of the fruits, vegetables, herbs, fish, and meats, into the fermentation process, fresh whole and raw. We consider this not justto be "fresh", but what we call "refreshed" (full of or renewed in vigor). Furthermore, we use an acid etching technique (e.g. seviche - raw fish marinated in citrus juices), which marinates and "acid cooks" it (alters the cellular tissue at the molecular level) with citric acid, not heat, leaving the nutrition 100% intact, even improved.

What is Curing? Curing is a time process?

of conversion, which can be accelerated with enzymatic activity and bacterial cultures during exposure to air (air dry).

What do you mean by natural?

We have been more comfortable using the terminology of "pure diet", which relates to the high non-toxic digestibility and available nutrient value. It is a controlled replication of humus upon the rain forests floor.

    How is the food made?

The basic fermentation takes about 4 weeks in a state of emulsion divided into bio-reactors (wine vats). Over this period, excess moisture is purged off and then agitated every other day for the first 15 days, until it is thickened where it can then be rolled out like clay and die cut. Then at this point, we begin the curing process which takes about four days give or take depending on atmospheric conditions. It is a cool low-light process likened to wine making. This process leaves enzymes and antioxidants intact.

    What about my pet's stools?

Organic ingredients will result in organic bio-degradable stools which will breakdown (biodegrade) in your yard much more quickly. One of our customers has 6 dogs and 3 cats in about half an acre and his yard is not littered with feces even after years of no scooping. It turns to chalk white ash and melts away. It only occurred to him after a few years, as it was never an issue.

    What is probiotic bacteria?

Take a look at our BD™ BioFlora™, BioLact™, Felora™ Librium™, and TheraFlora™ probiotic supplements

How are probiotic bacteria related to bad bacteria?

Are bacteria necessary for health and vitality?

Yes, bacteria are critical as a tie between the body's intestinal flora and it's facility to preclude serious illnesses and increase a quality lifespan. Bacteria even aid in healing, immune system efficiencies, vigor, vitality, and in proportion are valuable without respect to age. Should the microbial ecosystem within the digestive tract become upset, the probiotic bacteria cannot thrive in necessary numbers to perform their beneficial functions. It is even believed that disturbances in the micro-ecosystem are responsible for up to 90% of known diseases and illnesses.

    What disrupts these beneficial bacteria?

What will happen without a balance of good and bad bacteria?

A list of malfunctions are a result of an imbalance of microbes in the intestinal tract. Diarrhea, intestinal gas, constipation, persistent bad breath, fatigue, diminished immune response, bladder infections, candida albicans, allergies, skin fungus, and lactose intolerance are all indicators of an imbalance. The use of Balance Diet™ foods combined with BD™ probiotic supplements over time will introduce a steady stream of probiotic bacteria to protect your pets from a vast array of maladies. This powerful combination will help to rebuild the balance of probiotics in the pets digestive tract. This is significant as it can reverse the imbalances which may be building up to detrimental health conditions. For those of you who are suffering through the painful episodes of agonizing research to discover any remedies for your pets, this is extremely good news, not to mention that prevention is always better than recovery. There are there some microbes that come and go. In addition to the microorganisms that dwell in the intestinal tract on a daily basis, there are some microbes that are transient. These transient microbes also have vital functions which promote well being and health.

    What are bioflavinoinds?

We are quite certain of the nutritional advantages of Balance Diet™ .

    What are Bifidobacteria?

    What are Bifidobacteria Longum?

What is the significance of Lactobacilli?

Lactobacilli have been observed to exhibit magnificent health effects. Much like bifidobacteria longum, the lactobacilli population declines with age. Lactobacilli produce vitamin K, which is important for many reasons including the prevention of osteoporosis. While it is not yet know to what extent lactobacilli benefit the immune system, it is generally considered valuable to supplement animals as they age

What is the significance of Lactobacilli Rhamnosus?

There are a number of immunological characteristics that L. rhamnosus exhibits. For example, it heightens phagocytic activity. This destroys foreign invaders and other harmful entities much more efficiently. Natural antibodies that move throughout the body have been observed to be up to eight times larger in number subsequent to consumption of L. rhamnosus. Increased amounts of immunoglobulins and the activation of macrophages can aid the body to combat microbial infections. L. rhamnosus may just be the most notable of the lactobacilli.

    Why is Lactobacillus Salivarius important?

The amicable gastrointestinal super culture L. salivarius is distinguished for its capability to supply the body with energy storage. This is because it has a powerful capacity to help digest foods in the digestive tract which makes the food ingredients better suited for immediate benefit. Notably, L. salivarius assists the colon by consuming encrusted, partially oxidized organic matter. It also supports the rebuild the intestinal tract as it supplies necessary enzymes and nutrients. L. salivarius also sticks to and guards the mucus lining of the gastrointestinal tract.

What are the powerful capabilities of Lactobacillus Acidophilus?

    Why Enzymes?

Enzymes are a part of every metabolic process in the pets body, from the working of their glands to the proper functioning of their immune system

Don't dogs and cats already have enzymes?

The number of enzymes in a pet's body is vast, and yet each one has a specific function.

What are the specific functions of enzymes?
